Orb of Light

It’s not tangible, but we have faith, we have hope.

This is in memory of all the lights that have passed.

Sweet Tart

From the journal:

It was Oktoberfest. I ate everything and took a sample of all the different beers. Then to close the night, I had a slice of Apple Tart. Can I say there’s no going back? I wanted to take home that awesome tart but of course there wasn’t enough. Call it lucky that my friend’s mom is the maker of the heavenly dessert.

So every now and then, I’ll think of apples. And when I think of apples, I think of Tart.
